Anyone applying for a Citybuddy?

Got the little card and I'm tempted but not sure. Is anyone else going to sign up for one? (Basically, you get assigned a second or third year student who's doing the same course as you and they give you tips and advice)

Student Buddy is a good opportunity to get ahead of the curve provided you make good use of it. I was a student buddy and remember giving some tips to the student assigned to me. I was told it helped.

Don't expect miracles but if your buddy is a decent person you never know. You want to make sure to ask the right questions especially regarding internships and placements. It could even be some society support or help with a module, getting past papers (which are usually available online). Or asking them something like, 'what would you have done differently if you were back in year one?'

Basically, just be smart about it and be nice.
I applied for one
