Physicians Associate Applicants 2023

Hi,
I am a BioMedical Science graduate that achieved a 1st class honours in 2021. I am planning to apply for the PA MSc at the moment for the September 2023 entry. If anyone else can let me know if they are planning to do the same? Just a brief background on my experience, I have worked as a healthcare assistant and I am planning to work in the NHS as a medicines counter assistant so I still have interaction with patients or possibly in the admin management role so my skills are transferable. I have decided to put down Newcastle uni, UClan, Hull York Medical School, Swansea University and University of Leeds as my five main UCAS choice since they don’t look at my a levels, just the grade from undergrad and experience. So let me know if anyone is on the same wavelength on applying.

Hey everyone! I applied to Sheffield, University of Birmingham, Manchester, Surrey and BSMS as an international student. BSMS rejected me like 2 months ago (lol). Got interviews at the rest.

I applied pretty early (14 Oct 2022) because I also applied for Medicine at 2 other unis (Birmingham and Buckingham), because I had a Guaranteed Interview in one of them, and the other one I applied to directly, not via UCAS.

Had interviews at:
Surrey - on 30 Nov (over zoom)
Birmingham (Medicine) - 1 Feb (in person)
Sheffield - 9 Feb (in person)
Buckingham (Medicine) - 21 Feb (zoom)
Manchester - 23 Feb (zoom)

Have invitations from:
Birmingham - 17 April (in person)

Surrey and Sheffield said we should hear back from them in late Feb-early March
Manchester told us we shouldn't expect to hear back until May
