What is student life like at Southampton uni?

I'm currently finalising my top 5 uni choices for my UCAS application.
Southampton is an option, but I don't know much about the uni. I'm hoping to study Psychology & know its a good uni for that, but I am also largely considered about the student life (mainly nightlife). Does anyone know if the nightlife is any good there?

We pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming place, and therefore having a dynamic and vibrant student life on campus is really important to us. This includes a wide-range of nightlife venues, from our Students' Union bar to a 1700-capacity nightclub. Our Students' Union is also one of the only Unions to have its own student-run cinema, which lets students spend an evening watching mainstream films at a fraction of the usual price.
