HELP! Teacher refusing to raise my predicted A2 grade?

Hi guys, my history teacher is refusing to raise my A2 predicted grade to an A
........I achieved a mid B at AS exceeding their AS predicted grade (The same teacher predicted me a C for AS)

I'm struggling with illness (which I had all through AS too) and didn't attend many classes which is probably why.

What can I do to get it raised besides talking to the head? Thanks

Some schools have strict policies on predicted grades to prevent over-inflated predictions. If you feel your teacher is being specifically harsh towards you and that an A is a realistic prediction then you should go to a more senior member of staff and explain the situation.
A friend of mine was in a similar situation (but with English Lit) and she aced the very first test of the year which convinced the teacher to change the prediction, but if you're sending the application soon that strategy might not work.
