Travelling to Birmingham 1st time

Im taking the train there. Just wondering, with a Saver Return

is it possible to travel before 9.30am.

ANd for the return journey, can it be anytime within a month, or is the time specified?

And if I were to take a very late train on the return journey, one that takes 10hrs+ for me to reach my return destination, what woudl I do.

From the above link, I would arrive at Northampton at 23.49 and leave at 6.45 in the monring. Where do I go during the 6 hours???? Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

I don't think you can travel before 9.30am on that ticket into Birmingham IIRC.The return journey can be taking within one month of the outgoing journey.

With regards to the return journey...can you not go at another time?You'd have to sit in the train station for 6 or so hours which isn't very pleasant(trust me,I've done it...).

damn, well...is it safe in northampton? Or is it open so anybody can get itno the station? Yeh I suppose I could get the latest early train if you know what I mean, but Id idealy like to spend a bit more time in Birmingham if I cant get a 6am train with the ticket.

well i could say that about London, where i currently am, it cant be worse than London in terms of 'ghettoisation'. Can somebody enlighten me on the bus travel, and transport links in Brum, cost, etc.
