I got 63/68 :-/

wth

are u scared to be in a dark room by yourself incase people are judging you?
Your score was 55 out of a possible 68.

Scores in the 51 - 68 range indicate very severe anxiety.

I've been diagnosed with GAD and social phobia, so it sort of figures. :colondollar:

I'm actually pretty comfortable when it comes to socialising... I am a very shy person though. I think I may have misinterpreted the questions or something
I did both one before treatment & meds

That mild anxiety though...

seems more of an American centric test that doesn't take into account cultural and customs conditioning where talking a lot of nothing is frowned upon.

46? That's not very good :frown:
27 - mild anxiety. I don't think I'm so much anxious as very self-conscious, because I'm extroverted but also often say the wrong thing...so I'm both really happy and really scared around new people...guh...
I wish I was a xat
I got 45, and I'm pretty sure I don't have social anxiety :dontknow:

15/64 strange ! I'm like one of the most socially awkward person you'll ever encounter
34/68.

I'm not particularly anxious around authority figures or giving speeches for some reason so I think that helped bring my score down. Speaking to my peers absolutely terrifies me though.

Scores in the 0 - 20 range indicate little or no anxiety.

The problem with these questions is it makes you think of a specific time where such and such happened and thus people may be inclined to put down very much/extremely when really most of the time it's more of a very little/somewhat. Just because you've had one or two bad experiences with people in authority doesn't mean you'd avoid all, but the question forces you to think about those. I think realistically it's very hard for someone to get a score above 55 on this test; you're probably not being honest with yourself.
