How can I reconcile working as a Butcher's Accountant and being Vegetarian?

I am guilt ridden at the moment ....

Please tell me what I should do

It's good money, and I really need it, but how can I do it guilt free?

What's the action plan I should make? Work there and look for other jobs with similar pay and move there as soon as I get the job?

If you need the money they you need the money. It doesn't mean you're unprincipled or anything.

The butcher business would still be in business if you weren't there, someone else would fill the spot and get the money. Whether or not you work there doesn't change that.

I'm not a vegetarian, but you could maybe donate some of it to an animal charity? At least that way some good could come out of it? If it's that uncomfortable you could always keep looking for jobs in the meantime, and try to get one with similar (or more) pay, but that of course will take a while.
