I don't have a definitive answer but I can give you some general guidance.

Have you had a look at the universities' websites? Usually on the website they have the information about the course - including things like what the basics on what you'll be covering.

Also, have you been to any open days? That way you'll be able to see what the universities are actually like, and whether the course (that the university offers) is right for you or not. Chances are, not all chemical engineering courses will be identical.
