I'm on reserve shortlist for my first choice (Haem + Transfusion) but got an Interview for my second choice (Histo + Immuno) woohoo!

Because there are only 2 places for haematology I think the competition must have been extremely tight, so try not to feel too bad about it. Though I know it's hard not to. I was rejected for Biochemistry today so I know how it feels. :frown:

I think it just depends on if someone drops out at the interview stage, and then they'll invite the next highest ranking candidate to interview. There are as many reserves as there are places, eg repro sci has 7 places, so will interview 21 with 7 reserves.

Wonder what will come out today... my husband was reserved for histo and immuno. I am sure I won't get even reserved for repro so we are both waiting on genetics now. Hopefully will be out in a few days!
