Has anyone on any reserve lists been offered an interview yet?
Were the last results to be released Clinical Pharmaceutical Science? Has anyone else had an update on their shortlisting status? I'm finding it increasingly difficult to concentrate on my work at the minute. My current contract ends in July and I'm starting to stress about what's going to happen to me! I really want this job and I don't have any back up plans. The wait is excruciating....

As far as I can tell, the last ones to hear were pharmaceutical science. I'm waiting on clinical engineering, which should be one of the next ones released but haven't heard anything yet. I e-mailed yesterday to ask if there was a delay but they said there wasn't and that they were still releasing shortlisting results in order of interview date.

Ok, thanks. They are releasing in order of interview date, but I agree with you - there does seem to be some kind of delay this week. No-one appears to have heard anything since Monday. Good luck for Clinical Engineering x

I've not heard anything yet for genetics/genomics. I wonder if they will finish shortlisting and notifying the other specialisms before they send invitations to people on the reserve list?
It doesn't look like anything is being released today....again

I didn't think of that. I was hoping they'd start telling people sooner, but with them taking a long time to release the shortlisting results, I'm not holding my breath.
Did last year's cycle pan out this way or has some problem cropped up this year that they are frantically fixing behind the scenes while maintaining a calm exterior?

A couple of people have said (can't remember where I read it), that last year they heard back 4 days before the interview date. I think people can cancel an interview at any time (though it's supposed to be no later than 3 days before the interview date). So even if you don't hear back soon you could still get an interview.

Thanks! I hope they give people more notice than that this year. It's just so infuriating being so close to being shortlisted yet so far.

Would also be good if they released our shortlist rank so we can see how likely we are to get the call...

Would be even better if they released the results for the remaining areas :frown:
Reserve shortlist for biochem, so close but not quite there 😔

No over a week ago, only just commented today! Praying people drop out but don't have much hope for that

I know! I've asked them, but they said they can't give out that information. I don't understand why they can't tell us, I think it's stupid that they won't tell us. At least that way we'd know whether we actually need to prepare for the interview or not, and whether to still obsessively check oriel!

I applied for both Histocompatibility and Immunogenetic as well as Clinical Immunology. These specialisms are both immunology based so I didn't separate them in my application. I just wrote about my interest in immunology and have experience in H&I. I think if you are applying for specialisms completely different from each other it is difficult to merge the application to show your passion for both. Luckily I got interviews for both of them.

I don't suppose anyone knows what happens if you are offered two interviews on the same day? I am on the reserve list for Haem & Transfusion and the interviews are on the same day as the interview I am already attending for Histo & Immuno. If someone drops out and I am offered an interview, would I be expected to do 2 interviews on the same day or are they so similar (in the same 'theme') that one interview will be used for both?

I have two interviews, one for H&I and one for Clinical Immunology. I have had to book two time slots on the same day for the two separate interviews. I'm sure if you get a second interview they will make sure its not at the same time as your other one.

I'm in my final year of my undergrad degree in biomedical science but I did a year work experience in a NHS H&I lab. I've based most of my unit choices on immunology as much as I can and aimed for my lab work to be immunology based too.
