for your personal statement can you have under 4000 characters and say 50 lines or does it have to be 4000 characters and 47 lines!?!

It can be no longer than 47 lines regardless of how many characters you have!:tongue:

but I'm confused because font size affects how many lines you use?

Put your personal statement into the UCAS form, this will reformat it to a standardised font size and it will show you how many lines and characters you have. :smile:

right but once you do that don't you have only 30 min to send it in? (sorry really confused)

Haha it's okay! The 30minute time is how long you have until your 'draft' expires unless you tick 'section completed' :redface:

But even if you click 'section completed' it would only be sent to your referee if you had paid/sent it.
