Wow I'm losing touch with this blog a bit.

Saturday: Cycled to town and back and took part in my worst XC race of the season. Just felt terrible the whole way. Our team got promoted into the division above though, a huge achievement as it's the first time in the history of the club. On to better things next year.

Monday: 5x800m reps

Totals:
Run: 213.4 miles
Bike: 273.3 miles
Swim: 16.14 miles (1039 lengths)

Bruh, if that time for 400m freestyle is still correct on the first post (8 minutes) that can be cut down massively.

i swim for a club but am pretty crap if im gonna be honest, I can swim 100 free in a minute, so can do 400m in around 5 and that's for a bog standard swimmer. Judging by all the other stuff you're doing you could easily get down to that

Ye swimming's my weakest by a long way. I've got it down to 7:30 but can still do more. I only started swimming in November whereas I've been running for the last three years. It's slow improvements.

Ran parkrun today. Nice conditions - slightly soft underfoot. Paced it well as I pretty much maintained my position throughout and finished with a new best for me at that course of 19:29 over 5K.

Run: 250.0 miles
Bike: 403.3 miles
Swim: 20.30 miles (1307 lengths)

That seems a very nice way to finish this competition with 250 miles run over 400 miles cycled and and swum over 20 miles.

I'll post up finishing pics in the next couple of days.
