Could anyone mark my AS English Lit essay (History boys)

Hi. Would anyone mind skimming over my coursework. My teacher told me to do a different question so unfortunately this essay has never been read/marked by anyone :s-smilie:

. I really, really need some help cutting down. It's 1738 words and it's supposed to be 1300. My teacher says cutting down to 1600 is okay but I've heard it has to be dead on or you lose marks from others. Also if anyone could roughly estimate what band it would be in that would be appreciated. Any grammar/spelling/ using words out of context ?? Anything I'm really missing? Am I referring to my question enough? Is it cohesive/fluent? etc etc Thank you :colondollar:
