A curve has the equation y=x^3-3x^2+4
a)show that the curve has a turning point at (0,4)
b) The curve has another turning point, find its coordinates
Differentiate, then set that equal to 0 since turning points have a gradient of 0. Solve to find the solution for part a. The other x value should give you part b .
