Congrats!!! I'm still waiting here. Finally the economics department have spoken! What were your grades if you don't mind me asking and when did you send your application off?

I sent my application off on 3rd oct (I think)
I got 10A*3A at gcse, AAAA at AS (96% top 3 average)
Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get one soon, it's still early!!

I applied November 9th, for Economics and Business with East European Studies with 38 IB predicted and 7, 6, 6 HLs. Let me know if you are applying to the same course

I am applying for the course as well  but I am worried if i can't get in since my predicted grades are AAB.

If you're interested in travel I have spoken to a lot of people who have done the TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) qualification. If your first language is English then this is a great way for you to be able travel and earn money at the same time, as there are many schools all over the world who are looking for English speakers to teach at their schools. I've met a few people who have used their TEFL qualification to get jobs over the summer whilst they're at uni, so it's something you can use after your gap year too

Yup I've been looking into that as well! The only challenge I've had is finding schools that would take someone without at least a few years of college, most places in Europe seem to have that as a qualification. I'll keep looking though

Why what's the requirement? Think positive  Where are you from?
Someone should make a stalking page for 2016 applicants...

I applied yesterday too! Can you tell me when you get a reply?

Sure no problem!
At least we should be thankful it's not LSE. I remember back in 2013-2014 people who applied in September received a decision in April.

Congratulations! Are you an international student?

Nope I'm a home applicant doing A levels

Nice! Do you mind me asking about your offer/ grades?

They haven't actually sent me the offer officially, but it's an open day invitation with a guaranteed offer on the condition that I attend the open day....but I guess the offer would be the standard A*AA with a* in maths?
Hi everyone! I'm an EU student with a global average of 19.8/20 (with 20 in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English, Philosophy, Biology and Psychology and 19 in Literature and Geology). I applied for Biochemistry on September 15 and I'm yet to receive an offer. Is this normal? One classmate of mine also applied on the same day (but for another course) and she has already heard back from Cambridge, King's and UCL. Should I be worried?
Thanks in advance

Same, I am really excited to hear back.
I thought it was just me who is waiting for this particular course, shame there are very few Neuroscience UCL applicants on TSR.

Me too! I guess it's difficult for people to specialise so early, but I love neuroscience more than general biology  Do we have to do a questionnaire at some point? I've read things from earlier years where that had to answer online questionnaires from UCL :O

Okay, thanks. The waiting is consuming me. I thought they'd get to me in 8 weeks time. Guess I was wrong.

^^ I'm from the EU, so I guess that's why I didn't see any mention of a specific date for an invite. They did offer to arrange a date for a skype conversation though if I contact them. Did you get an invite on a specific date?
8.6 with 9 in Maths or Chemistry in the Romanian Bacc. Kind of AAB, I guess? What about you?

I see! I got an AAB offer too, with A in Maths. I've been asked to go to the open day, but not sure I can make it just yet!
Just got an offer for Computer Science:biggrin:
