a primary school teacher was fired for being nosey and asking my friend about her dad that she no longer sees
another (deputy head) kissed a girl, gave her lifts and wrote her poems - hes been banned from teaching for 3 yrs

We had one Head of Department almost kicked out because of giving too much exam help, but before they could fire him the whole Biology Department quit instead.

Lol omg. I've seen the lot, but many were on the news, not who I've known. Like mostly yea violence or verbal abuse or sexual abuse.

Ok I moved to one area and everyone told me that they hated the current Chem teacher but missed the former one--but he was sacked for sleeping with a student (supposedly). Both characters in the story are like mythological creatures to me like "wow! I wanna see them with me own eyes!" lol

Aand then my mom said her understudy got fired for calling the kids ****heads and sluts :s-smilie:

It were her first day, too. Oh well lol

And the college I go to now, well there's lots of stories about professors sleeping with their students but I never keep track.

Year 5 teacher got fired for picking the misbehaving kids up by their shirt collar, lifting them up to his level, screaming at them and then throwing them outside the classroom...he did a whole load of other scary stuff too but I cant exactly remember what :redface:

got kicked out because he would inappropriately talk to one of his students through msn , we were all relived anyway because he was a total creep

also my chem teacher got sacked because a student got burns from using a chemical and eventually had to have a skin graft, yet the teacher didn't go with her to hospital or notify the head of science (but it wasn't really her fault since the students insisted it wasnt serious and told her she didn't need to worry) she was one of our best teachers as well :frown:

There was this maths teacher in my secondary who stabbed his girlfriend to death. I guess it's more of a dismissal out of necessity that a "firing" per se afterwards; it's probably hard handing out homework from prison.

In all honesty though, I think it's come to the point where misbehaving kids are being treated too leniently in classrooms... I agree doing that is a bit much, but I can't help but sympathise with the teacher more than with the misbehaving student.
