How hard is it to do opthalmology?

I'm currently doing AS and have an interest for the dentistry/ophthalmology areas.
My GCSE grades were 1A*, 8As and 1B. What are the steps id have to take and how likely is it for m to get in?

Do you mean ophthalmology or optometry? Ophthalmology is a medical speciality, you will need to study medicine and then do the relevant postgraduate training.
