Media exam MS4

Can anyone help me out with this question. 'To what extent do your three main texts target a mainstream audience?' I'm clueless as to what to include and what a mainstream audience even is!
I studied The Big Bang Theory, Educating Essex, Yorkshire and the East End and Broadchurch.
If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it, my exam's in two days!

This question is actually pretty easy because you can decide what a mainstream audience for each text is. I did different texts to you, I did Casualty (on BBC1), Made in Chelsea (E4), and True Detective (HBO) and basically laid out what I consider the mainstream audience for their respective networks to be- ie, BBC One is popular among British adults because its the #1 TV channel in the UK and targets a mature audience, therefore Casualty targets the mainstream audience on BBC One by [blah blah blah].
