Would a holiday affect my knowledge and learning?

I am currently pushing myself to learn as much I can during the summer( programming) some thing i like to peruse as career.

I am planning to do an apprenticeship this September in software development.

In about 5 weeks time I will be going for a 3 week holiday (NCS) I am away on weekdays and back home on weekends for 3 weeks, I am worried this gap might affect my knowledge and understanding of all i learnt during this summer.

What is your opinion on taking this trip?

Depends what your level of coding ability is at the moment but you could look at sites like codeacademy or hackerrank which have various interactive programming tests/tutorials that you could use to improve on the go.
