Germany strongly urges Hamas and Fatah to abandon violence and strive for peace.
Lebanon echoes these sentiments, and hopes that the conflict may end speedily so as to minimise instability in an already unstable region.
Russia backs this call, and further calls for Hamas and Fatah to form a government of national unity in the interests of their people.

It would help if Israel wasn't fuelling the bloodshed by supplying Fatah with weapons in a bid to undermine the DEMOCRATICALLY elected Hamas government.

Russia calls on Israel (OOC: not very strongly) to cease interfering in the affairs of other nations. For a given value of "nation", at least. It must be said that Hamas are not without their own foreign backers, so it would seem fair in return for Israel's removing its finger from the Palestinian pie for Iran, Syria and Saudi Arabia to withdraw their entire hands and arms from it.

Hamas are a deomcratically elected government, representing the Palestinian people. they maintain every right to buy weapons from abroad, they're the bloody government! but when you have what is effectively a private militia being supplied by another nation, now that's pretty screwed up. It would be like if the US suddenly started supplying the tories with Nukes, not exactly the wisest thing and clearly not beneficial to the UK. It undermines the electoral process.
Israel condemns the constant violence between Hamas and Fatah and it would also be appreciated if other countries could try and refrain from blaming us all the time when it is clearly their own conflict. Hamas and Fatah need to stick to the ceasefire agreement.

While Finland is keeping an open mind about these allegations, that link is no where near enough to convince anyone.

Hmm, very interesting. Dose the American or Israeli rep wish to comment?
Israel would like to express our concern over the US aid to Fatah since it could lead to those weapons being used to attack our country, especially since their new unified forces will include members from Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, a terrorist organistion who had a hand in the recent Eilat bombing.

you're acting out of character:
"We are being pressured from the (Israeli) political echelon not to interfere with American plans to provide weapons and equipment to Fatah,"

Belgium joins the international community in it's call for peace.
That said, we do however note that, however unpleasant, the Hamas government was elected democratically. Despite this, we call for a government of National Unity.

The Marshall Islands joins everyone else (wow, we've a proper party of agreement in here!) in calling for peace. Oh yes, and that Hamas and Fatah will sort themselves out as well.
