I used to live near Newcastle so I understand :biggrin:
Around that area the word 'shan' (which kind of meant 'unfair') was considered a chav word. Is it the same in Newcastle?

yeah 'shan' is slightly chavvy not as bad as 'pagga' for fight and stuff like that.
