My qualification has expired!
I made it to second year, woo! *celebrates*, as happy as I was to pass my first year, I had some devastating news. Today, I found out my CACHE Level 3 qualification is no longer recognised by the Care Council for Wales, not only that, when i went to check CACHE, they had put up that the qualification expired in December 2014.
I wrote to cache this evening to voice my concern and I'm so worried/upset/panicking that I won't be able to work with children. I am studying Early Childhood (BA hons) it is an academic degree where we volunteer alongside it, this gains our experience, but was informed that, practitioners would ideally prefer a Level 3 and a degree. Like, really?
Has anyone else been in this position?
