University of Edinburgh

Are my GCSEs good enough for Edinburgh?

Hi all, I'm currently in Year 12 but already looking at Universities and courses. I'm planning to do either English Literature or Sociology, and I've already been to 6 open days this year.

I've just been looking at Edinburgh Uni, and I really like their English Lit course. However, they ask for AAA at A-Level...but also a strong set of A*s at GCSE.

I'm kind of sad because I don't think i'll even have a chance now, but I do really like it and I don't want to discard it immediately.

My grades were A*A*A* (in Additional Science / Full Course RS / History), AAAAA (in English Lit / English Language / Core Science / French / Maths) and BB (in German / Music). I'm taking English Lit, Sociology, Biology and History for AS Level.

Any suggestions/advice are much appreciated!!
