Boots Christmas Temp Jobs PAY DAY?

Hi all,

I have just got a job as a christmas temp at boots, and am really confused about the pay days and havent had chance to ask my manager.

Will I get paid weekly or monthly? On my contract it states all employes get paid monthly, but it looks like someone has just copied my name into a normal contract, and I have heard Xmas temps are paid weekly? Does anyone know whether its weekly or monthly payments for temps?

Hi,

Well done for getting a job. Most big retailers pay monthly as that is how their payroll is run. They will obviously make adjustments if you start part way through a month.

you need to ask your manager, check when the cut off is and how it works in terms of arrears

I would imagine if it says monthly on your contract then it is monthly though
