What stereotypes do people have about your course/subject/future career?

I'm writing a report about stereotypes and I need your help.

Firstly, what do you study? Secondly, what are some of the misconceptions or stereotypes people have about your chosen course, subject or future job?

What are the annoying ones and what are the ones that you actually think are quite funny and amusing?

Also what's the one interesting thing about your course, subject or future job that only someone studying it would know about it?
Medicine.

People say all medical students are rich and super clever. We all party far too much and work far too much. And that we won't have a job in future.

Annoying ones: That we are all well off or love getting hammered. I am neither. And as a girl people hear "medicine" and assume I am going to be a nurse. It gets annoying after a while and nursing suffers as it is still seen as a women only job.
Not sure on funny oes.

You don't need to be a genius to study medicine. It isn't hard. It's just huge.
