Probably not, going places alone is kinda shitty tbh. I recommend going in a group of 3 or more.
Going out with just one other friend is also really awkward if they want to go somewhere else and you don't, you need at least 3 so you can have a majority to convince the other.

The whole point of pubs is socialising, and if you're going alone then that's not going to happen. Only old men go to the pub by themselves, and that looks like a rather sad existence anyway.
