Graphic Design portfolio help

I applied for graphic design in St Martins UAL, but I'm not sure what my portfolio should look like? I'm doing A level art, so my work is mainly paintings and drawings. Would those be fine or do I have to figure out a way to make more actual graphic design pieces? Pls help, thanks!

Those should be fine - just take lot's of pictures of what you have done. I wouldn't make up any more work just for the sake of the portfolio - its best to just be yourself.
