I've got a presentation tomorrow on genetic engineering and I need to know the disadvantages of genetic engineering.

In what context?

It can reduce biodiversity

Could have unforeseen effects

In plants the genes could spread to other plants which could cause further harm

Morally incorrect, decreases biodiversity, survival of the fitness, etc...
You can expand and develope ideas from these. Branch them out as well like in a spider diagram.
