I'm doing this mentoring scheme at my school, and one of the chlderen I'm teaching said he wants to be an architect but Is ensure what A-levels he needs. I suggested Graphics, Physics and Maths. Do you have to have those A-levels? Can you become an architect without doing the degree?

Any links would be useful, thanks.

generally uni's say art maths and physics... if possibel graphics is good (but they don't encourage it so much) ... i think graphics is probally more useful for actual architecture, but unis tend to like you to investigate your inner self, and those skills are those that you gain from art....

in the end the student needs to pick the subjects that they like... Maths and physics don't help the actual degree course... Maths and geography might be as good?
