Are parents supposed to come to matriculation?

As the title above. International student, was wondering if it is normal for parents to come to the matriculation ceremony at Cambridge (Trinity College). I previously thought that parents were not supposed to come?

Not normal for them to come to the picture/dinner, but actually technically matriculating will probably happen as soon as you arrive at college, before you move into your room.
