Matriculation concession at Durham Uni

Does anyone know how often Durham will provide a matriculation concession? And how long is the process? Thanks

Hiya

The regulations on matriculation concession are here: https://www.durham.ac.uk/media/durham-university/study/admissions-policies/matricregsug.pdf

Point 4 on this states:

Students who do not satisfy entry criteria for the programme to which they are applying or regulation 4 above may still be able to receive an offer of admittance to the University subject to the approval of a Matriculation Concession. A Matriculation Concession shall only be agreed where the University feels that an applicant has sufficient academic ability to complete successfully the programme of study in which they are interested.

Judging by this, I don't think the tally for getting a matriculation concession is a substantial number but the admissions department will be able to advise you better on this.
