Asking for release from firm.

Hi!

I got my grades for my firm choice but have already organised a gap year and want to take it. Will my firm uni release me??/ If they do then does that mean that my insurance will think that I am going there??? SO will I have to ring them for release aswell??

If you're taking a gap year you don't need to get released - just withdraw from UCAS for this year round and reapply next year.

Ring your uni and ask to defer your entry til next year.
That way you don't need to worry about re-applying and they should hold your place for you :smile:

Yeah don't ask to get released; just ask them to defer your entry until next year. You might have to answer questions about what you propose to do on your gap year and stuff.
