nth term = a+(n-1)d
first n terms...

sum = n/2 [2a+ (n-1)d]

Basic simultaneous equations in aa and dd.

u5=14=a+4du_5=14=a+4d
S5=3=52(2a+4d)S_5=-3=\frac{5}{2}(2a+4d)
