I never understand why identifying with Irish culture makes you left wing, surely the two things would exist along a different spectrum and this is especially true given that Anglo culture is far more liberal than Irish culture which is generally quite conservative.

It's like saying Hamas is more left wing than Israel even though Tel Aviv pride is a thing but Gaza strip pride isn't.

Interested to see which football fan bases are a combination of working class in status and left wing in political allegiance, particularly ones that don’t come to mind immediately, e.g Feyenoord.

Feyenoord was long ago the club with working class status. They won the Europacup I in 1969/1970. Nowadays that status is completely gone.
