A Hindu man hacked a Muslim to death and then set his body on fire during a religious hate attack. Good to see the Metro reporting on it, I wonder why we don't get the same coverage from the BBC, Sky, the Daily Mail... perhaps there is some sort of agenda

More common than we think.
Because it only matters when its a non-Muslim that's been killed by a 'Muslim', otherwise, who cares, right?

This is so upsetting. How could they use religion as an excuse to kill another human being. I am a Hindu myself and I cannot in anyway think of how he (the Hindu killer) could have possibly justified murdering this man solely on the basis of religion. My deepest wishes and sincerity goes towards the Muslim community in India. They must live in such agonising fear knowing such murderers exist. It's heart breaking to think of their pain.

The stigma towards Muslims is ridiculous. If a Muslim was to kill someone they are automatically tagged as Ts. However if in this circumstance a Muslim was killed it wouldn't get any coverage at all!

Yep, just seen another thread on an Israeli soldier being killed. Yes, its sad but what about the 4 Palestinians civilians (could be more not sure) that were killed in the air strikes today? Oh wait, who cares.

This incident was actually massive news in India.

No one cares about Muslims. Their blood is too cheap. The thing is though because of all the killing that's been occurring for a really long time in Palestine individuals don't bother because it's a 'normal occurance'.

because when it happens in a first world country, not one cares, but people tend to care more when it happens in their own country. If such thing happened in the UK, it'd get more coverage than it does if it happens in india.

Logically, why would regular day citizens care about something that happens thousands of kilometres away from them?

That's what 'Israel' says, ask a Palestinian living in the area and they've probably seen dozens of bodies there. An air strike has th capability of killing dozens of people, not just '4' especially when Palestine is one of the most densely populated places in the world.

If you haven't realised already the metro newspaper reports about south Africa and other countries on a daily basis.

What's happened to all the other news outlets?

You said it doesn’t get coverage

It got massive coverage where it occurred.

By the ways the country itself is not recognised as 'Palestine' either. It goes by the name Israel.

Not only that the capital city of Palestine will be changing from Ramlah to Jerusalem. Pretty sad state out there.

Not enough coverage though. If a Hindu was killled by a Muslim the Bjp would be organising riots for multiple days and it would be a news item for a week or more.

metro is the only one to report it properly, all the others will only report such events if it occurs in the uk.

If someone was killed for their belief in the uk, the uk newspapers will report it, but the indian ones won't.

Yes but it helps to have coverage down here too does it not?
Muslims Sikhs Christians get killed in India a lot and yet they describe themselves as a secular democracy
Absolute joke
