Is the University of birmingham offer calculator accurate from experience?

i know it does say that it isn’t concrete even when you’re filling it out but i was wondering if people have an experience where the offer calculator was completely different to the actual application process

You should take it with a pinch of salt because there are a lot of factors it cannot take into account. That said it is based on actual data.

Imo if your grades are along the lines of the entrance then you stand a good chance. Birmingham is also one of the few higher up unis that seems to make a lot of unconditional offers.

When I tried it the other day, it told me I would be considered through A2B so it takes that into account

ahh yea i understand. it also doesn’t take into account a few other things but just because it doesn’t make that into account does that make it very inaccurate ? surly not

no i’ve heard they have a bit of bias towards people from bham tho
