Access to nursing

Hello

I have an access to nursing interview on August the 12th.
Does anyone know what will be involved.
My interview is in easterhouse campus of Glasgow Kelvin College.
There are no entry requirements apart from being out of education for 5 years.

Ask them whether its just an interview or whether you have to be prepared for anything like team games, or tests.

If just an interview then be prepare to answer basic interview questions explaining who you are, what your experience is, why you want to do nursing, what skills you have and what you intend to do after the course. You need to know why you are there and you are a good fit.
It should be more of a chat and relaxed.

I had my access course interview last week (although not for Nursing). It was very laid-back. All of us had to do a basic maths test first and then our interview consisted of a conversation with the tutor on a one-to-one basis about why we want to do the course, the modules we will be learning, how to best prepare for the year ahead etc. They also asked if I was currently employed and how I'd manage work and studying at the same time. I thought it'd be set up like a job interview but it was very relaxed! Best of luck.
