Analyst 2 Associate Promote - AMA

Congrats on your promotion! Here's a few..feel free to only answer the ones you like, but all answers are really appreciated.

What % your cohort/division got promoted? Did this cause rifts in 'splitting' into a two-tier cohort?

Biggest pit-falls that caused people not be promoted?

How important was First Year in your promotion? (Assuming you got promoted after 2nd year?)

How long do you see yourself staying at the firm?

Is the pay or responsibilities a noticeable bump?

How long do you see yourself as an Associate?

What would you tell your First-year Analyst self if you had the chance again?
