ABRSM exams in Cambridge

Hi, this is first time i've started a threat. I've just got my grades to start at cambridge in Oct!! :smile:

Basically I did my grade 8 piano in May, and was expecting to scrape like a 100/150 but fell marginally below the pass mark. my pieces (the reason I failed, 18, 18, 21) were Scarlatti's Sonata in Am, Clementi's allegro con spirito, and the Grieg in section C.

my plan is to have another go before the shell-life of my pieces expires.

so i'm wondering if anybody has any experience of doing AB exams in cambridge. does the university/college have any provisions or provide help to AB exam candidates like in secondary school? are there like music teachers people in the uni/college you have lessons with? where is the AB exam place in cambridge.
also any relavent advice/comments much appreciated.
