I found supermarket wise if I was doing a big shop on my own I'd walk to Sainsburys; if someone I knew was doing a run to asda by car I'd quickly invite myself, lol. I'd do small shops in the tesco in the city centre.
depends where you live! Elliott to Sainsburys is probably around 20/25 minutes? i haven't really timed it!

nope no kfc, although there are plans for one in chestfield, that will be built soon, and one in broadstairs, so yeh no kfc unless you want to drive for one

oh man im so pissed there's no primark, have heard there's a big asda tho and when i visited at xmas there were loads of wicked shops that my sleepy seaside town doesn't have! came back with candles and all sorts! haha

primark is in margate, its really not that far, if you go on a saturday you could spend the day there

any sport stores nearby?
JJbs or whatever its called. There was Blacks/ Millets and theres Fat face etc. I know they dont necessarily count as sports shops although I think the JJBs place does sell shuttlecocks and stuff. Somewhere sells proper rackets and football boots and hockey sticks and stuff, I know this because I bought some tennis rackets there 5 years ago, dont know if its still open though. You can always buy really specialist stuff online
sports wold also on sturry road sells sports equipment and clothes, some of the clothes there do however leave a lot to be desired
there used to be richards records that sold vinyl but that closed
