Bristol or Edinburgh for undergrad sociology?
Hi everyone, I have an offer to study sociology at Bristol with a year abroad and an offer from Edinburgh (so the degree at either uni will be four years). I really like both cities and courses, but am having trouble deciding which one to go to.
Bristol uni and their department seems smaller, but at Edinburgh you can study modules from other courses too.
My main questions are:
- what are the sociology courses like at each uni?
- what are the unis like overall?
- what are the study abroad schemes like at each uni?
- does either Bristol or Edinburgh have a better, friendlier community?
- what are the cities like creatively?
I know that's a lot of questions, if anyone has the time to answer any of these I'd be so grateful!
