Best Scottish Uni For Engineering?

I am hoping to get onto an engineering degree next year and was wondering which unis are considered the best for it.

I have heard that both Heriot-Watt and Strathclyde are very good.

How about Aberdeen and Edinburgh?

I am interested in both mechanical and electrical engineering. I'm not sure which I would rather go for or if I would want to so a joint degree but I am hoping that becomes clearer this year. Also interested in the Subsea Technologies masters from Aberdeen.

Aberdeen offers a MEng Mechanical Engineering with Subsea Technologies but it is also offered as a MSc. If other unis we're significantly better then it may be a better option to study there and apply for a masters at Aberdeen.
