Engineering @ Edinburgh - 2nd-year entry w/o Further Maths (a little terrified!)

Hi all,
I'm an international student with a conditional firm offer from the University of Edinburgh for an MEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering.

Under my sponsor's terms, I had no choice but to apply for a 2nd-year entry. However, I only have A-Levels in Chemistry, Physics, and Maths without FM, which is worrying me considerably as the course's 2nd-year Mathematics modules, (which I've foolishly only checked now), are far more advanced than anything I've learned, while I'll be skipping the introductory 1st year!

I've just started self-studying the FM syllabus, but I'm a slow learner who's easily intimidated, and time is at a premium. Looking for any advice or reassurance, especially from anybody with experience entering Engineering at a Scottish uni in the 2nd year.
