which uni??

hi

i’m stuck between liverpool and york university

which one do you think would be best in regards to education and social life

i like the look of them both and would be happy at both but i’m just stuck atm

York is a small medieval city with still-standing Roman etc city-walls surrounding the gorgeous, quiet, flat city centre. An amazing place for history, Yorvik/Jorvik Viking archeology centre, 3D visits, flat = everyone cycles, lots of castles & nationally famous museums. I think I saw at least one nightclub, perhaps. Betty’s café is amazing for cakes & tea, near the ancient Minster/Cathedral. People are nice, warm, sensible.

Liverpool would be noisier, busier. Their archeology dates back to approx the 1960’s, was not the Roman/Viking capital of the North...
