I wanna join!

I'd love to learn Arabic...I never get round to getting my dad to teach me.

That is the extent of my Arabic, and was probably wrong! I'm another Arabic learner who has missed his last 2 lessons (out of the first three!)due to work :frown: I think I'm going to have to teach myself for a bit til January :yep: I already know the letters/reading to an extent from a young age so got a head start in some respects........Hope there are more of you out there!!!!

I know one word. 'Yalla'...something like that..I think it means 'move!' :s all i remember is that they all said that to me in the crowds of Saudi Arabia..

id love to larn arabic as well!!.. i started during summer, this is what iv learnt from a best mate, who speaks arabic fluently, shes from bahrain, so helps alot! i think i need to start again...

I've learnt the alphabet :smile: So I can speak written words but I don't know what any of them actually mean :p:
I can read and write a fair amount, though I'm far from perfect. I need to work on my speech though!

Yalllah means 'oh my god'

yalla means 'come on'
ya allah means 'o god'
