Thanks Oli. i was out. i was out until i found out the flat was FLOODED. if i'd stayed in i think i'd have realised the flat was FLOODING BEFORE it came through my door?
i stayed up all night saturday cleaning, so i've slept from about 10.30 last night in preparation for the GLEN BALL :biggrin:

Basically what happened was:

My neighbour Lizzie had a friend over (that's a prerequisite for what's to follow)

We all went to the Glen Winter Wonderland on our floor. Alex went back to get an indigestion tablet, came back and said "your halls flooded!"
So after much rushing around, we got to mopping, when Lizzie and Alex decided they were hungry and tried to 'order a Chinese', but Lizzie's phone was out of battery, so she borrowed mine. She tried a few times but couldn't get through, probably because it was half 3 in the morning by then :p:

Then she said Alex needed to borrow the phone, so i let her, which is when i believe the text was sent, because there's no record of it in my Sent Messages folder :s-smilie:

Some idiot left a tap on upstairs while everyone was at the Glen Winter Wonderland. No-one knew it had happened until the Alex girl went back and saw the flooding. Being a visitor and drunk, naturally she panicked, and so we were all dragged from the Winter Wonderland so the guys upstairs could sort their kitchen out first. Then we did ours, by which time it was 6 am so i never bothered going to bed.

Omg that looks so...um...wet!

It looks funny but I guess it's not funny when it's your house! You should just get loads of tampons and use them to soak up the water.

My flatmate just bought us whammed tickets. What fancy dress costume can I make out of a witches hat, an orange tutu, a camo sheet, lots of random paint, some neon clothes and a maquerade mask??

Glen Ball starts at 7.30 so we have pretty much the same problem. Having to eat already :/

be grateful you can afford it!
i can only go out one more night until I go home... i'm gutted.
would normally be out tonight, and it's C block pub crawl on Wednesday, then the Rugby social on Thurs, and the Monte party on Friday... And then my mate coming down on Saturday.

I don't know what to do :frown:

Glen Ball:

1) Was NOT worth 18 quid, the food was crap, the dodgems and casino partially made up for it, the DJ was also terrible

2) The drinks were uber-expensive. We're talking almost as expensive as Rhino here.
