Can a uni reject you once getting an offer?

I had an email which said that the majority of their candidates got As in first sittings which do me seemed like a hint towards the fact that they do want you to get the A in first sittings however this is not stated on UCAS. What would happen if say i got an offer but at the end of A2 i had to do a resit and still got an A do they have a right to reject me?

Your offer would be conditional on you achieving those grades by August 31st 2009. So if you achieved the grades before then, you'd be fine (even if you had to resit a module). If you missed the grades but wanted to take a gap year and resit, then that would count as missing the offer.
