The facts on applying to uni

Ø Any applications received before this date will be given equal consideration for courses.

•

Ø These applications need to be submitted by 6pm on that date.

•

Ø If you’ve used all five choices, and aren’t holding any offers, you can add another choice using UCAS Extra.

•

Ø This is another chance for you to gain a place at university.

•

Ø You can apply to additional universities one at a time.

•

Ø If you didn’t apply before the 26^th January deadline, you can still submit an application up to 30^th June at 6pm.

•

Ø These applications will be looked at on a first come, first served basis only if the course still has places available at the point of application.

•

Ø Clearing is how universities fill any places they have left on any courses.

•

Ø Any applications submitted after the 30^th June 6pm deadline are automatically entered into clearing.

•

Ø You will need to have your results in order to be offered a place through clearing.

•
