My favourite places on Staffordshire University's doorstep
With university ending for me I have had a lot more time to rediscover things I used to enjoy.
Last year when I covid had us locked in Hanley Park (about 2min) from the university, was my favourite place to escape to when I needed a change of scenery.
From the images I do not think it is a shock I liked it so much, it is a gorgeous gem in the middle of Shelton, and almost seems out of place at times.
In the summer months, I have found it to be a great place to go for a picnic or even a date.
So, if you need somewhere with beautiful scenery, nice air, and cute ‘wildlife’ I highly recommend you take to 2 min walk to Hanley Park.
