hi anyone thinking of applying here for 2023 entry? what do we think will happen to the cut off this year? got a ucat score of 2610 and I'm really inclined to apply to sheffield as it meets their cut off for last year but I'm sceptical of it not rising at the same time.

There is a reply on the A100 thread that says admissions have advised by the end of this week.

Hi! Does anybody know if all 3 questions will be asked at each station, or if it will be just 1 of the 3, with potential follow up Qs? I am struggling to know whether to plan very short or very long responses for each? It seems that the answers will be a bit too brief if all three were asked within 8 mins so I am starting to wonder now…

When in feb do we think offers will be out?
Hey everyone!
I hope interviews all went well for you guys! Even if you didn't feel like they went well, you may have done better than you thought!
I am a 4th year medical student at Sheffield, I have not done the GEM programme but some of my friends have.
So if you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
If not, good luck with everything )

Hi, does anyone know if we will receive offers at the same time as the undergraduate course ?

I have just been emailed to provide an academic reference to add to my profile - making me think any offers won’t be for at least a few more days - if not next week

What reference did you supply? Was it from your most recent employer?
The one from my ucas application was from a previous work experience

Looks like you’re gonna get an offer! How did you feel your interview went?

Seems to be in line with their timeline on the website.

Feb 2023 - Mar 2023

Interview score sheets and UCAS references reviewed. Positive UCAS references have no impact on the application. Negative UCAS references (which are rare) may result in the application being deemed unsuccessful.

March 2023 End of Stage 3.

March 2023

Offers/Unsuccessful decisions notified to students via UCAS. Automated emails are also sent to applicants from the University's Admissions Service. Unsuccessful applications may be considered by the University for a Change of Course to Biomedical Science and/or Orthoptics. This process may take 2-3 weeks. Unsuccessful applicants are then notified via UCAS.
It looks like a few people have been getting emails telling them they are on the wait list and even one person getting an offer - anyone on this chat heard anything?
